How much traffic do you get from google every month?

Right now, one of my forums is averaging over 7k-8k visits a month from Google. It used to get a lot more traffic than this on a monthly basis, but we don't publish new content all the time like we did in the past. So, our traffic actually dipped. However, this can easily be brought back up with the release of new quality content and some new backlinks, however, my main goal is to release new content that can attract organic backlinks.
